Automotive blade fuses are small safety elements installed in cars and other vehicles. They are designed to prevent too much current from flowing through the circuit, thus preventing damage to the vehicle's electrical components. If an overcurrent occurs, an integrated fusible wire in the automotive blade fuses reacts to the excessive current flow and breaks the circuit - the fuses blow. The models range from mini to standard to maxi plug-in fuses and have different rated currents.
The diverse designs are suitable for a wide range of applications and electrical devices within a vehicle with an internal combustion engine. Since e-mobility uses high voltage and strong current flow, the corresponding vehicles require a different type of fuse.
